I live locally and over the years have supported RJC Dance as a volunteer, board member and now welcome the chance to be a member of the staff team. I believe in RJC Dance's power to change people's lives, to open doors, to inspire and to contribute to social change in the city and elsewhere.

I have a background in management and education, work in multi-purpose centres, with young people and in community arts. I'm also self employed and bring extensive network and partnership experience working with the third sector, colleges, schools, prisons, the NHS, local authorities and training providers.

Previous roles include:

  • Qualifications and Development Adviser for Certa (formerly the Open College Network)
  • Director of The Swarthmore Centre, Leeds
  • managing the Ann Tayler Centre and Centerprise, multi-purpose centres in Hackney, London
  • managing 'Sharing Credit', a UK project developing training and learning consortia across the Third Sector
