Shahck Out Youth Dance: NSCD Party in the Park

Celebrating RJC Dance as part of the legacy of NSCD, RJC Dance bought a new work choreographed by RJCD tutor, alumnus and NSCD
alumnus Nillanthie Morton. Nillanthie said “The inspiration behind the piece is Celebration - combining my NSCD 3rd year showcase piece, which I performed as a student at NSCD, and everything I embody at RJC Dance which is togetherness, energy and good vibes."

Togetherness was performed at Norma Hutchinson Park, Chapeltown in July 2026 by Amaya Anderson, Arbelle Avigdori, Alexis Bass, Tia Davis, Nyomi Grant, Sarah Jacques, Amelia Jeffers Barton, Ella-Mae John, Deborah Okhiluah, Abril Priganica, Laureya Richardson, Awa Sillah, Rosa Stobbart & Estelle Williams.

Shahck Out Boyz: Soca Zombies – CFL Awards

RJC Dance Youth Provision group Shahck Out Boyz were invited to perform at the Child Friendly Leeds Awards at City Varieties in Leeds City Centre on Thursday 2 July 2026.

They performed Soca Zombies to open the awards and bought all of the Soca energy and spirit!

Shahck Out Saturday: Soca Cheer 2026

Shahck Out Saturday took to the stage not once, but TWICE on Saturday 27 June 2026, setting the vibe on FIRE with incredible Soca spirit! Their new piece, choreographed by Shahada Nantaba Sekajja, brought the RJCD energy to both Moor Allerton Primary School in North Leeds and Beeston Festival South Leeds while the sun shone bright. ☀️

Making Moves – Shahck Out Youth Dance

RJCD Youth Provision group Shahck Out Youth Dance performed at the Riley Theatre, Leeds as part of the Sadlers Wells Regional Making Moves platform in 2026. Their piece 'TeLieVision Off' was choreographed by Nillanthie Morton, under mentorship by Ivan Michael Blackstock.
