RJC Dance hosts students from Northern School of Contemporary Dance

RJC Dance is always keen to support and inspire the next generation of dance talent in all aspects of the industry. We're thrilled to have welcomed Ellie and Nina to RJC Dance for their teaching placement across 5 weeks in March 2024.

Ellie and Nina, who are currently in their second year on the BA (Hons) contemporary dance degree at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, worked with Shahck Out Kidz who are RJC Dance Youth Provision members aged 6-8years old.

Nina and Ellie said

“We have thoroughly enjoyed coming in and working with Shahck Out Kidz, it is definitely one of the highlights of our week! On our placement we have learnt how to adapt plans based on the energy levels of the children and how to indulge in the parts of classes they really engage with and enjoy the most. We have loved seeing their progress and constant positive attitudes to dance."
