Support Shahck Out to Shine

Support young people from Chapeltown, Leeds to perform on a national stage!

We are incredibly proud to announce that RJC Dance Youth Provision members, Shahck Out Youth Dance have been selected to represent Yorkshire at the prestigious U.Dance National Festival 2024, taking place this July in Liverpool.

The largest event of its kind, the U.Dance National Festival is a celebration of youth dance. Groups from around the country perform on professional stages, take part in workshops with leading dance professionals, and are offered inspiring dance careers information.

Shahck Out Youth Dance, a group of young people aged 12-19 years, are amongst a handful of youth dance groups in the UK who have been chosen to participate, following their captivating performance of ‘Soca Cheer’ at the Yorkshire Regional Platform.

They need your support to make their dream a reality. As a charity, RJC Dance must raise £3,000 by 12 July to cover the costs of transportation and accommodation in Liverpool.

• Donate Today: Every contribution counts. For the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help fund a place for one of our young dancers.

• Business Sponsorship: If you are a local business, a donation of £100 or more will earn you recognition on our website, social media platforms, email marketing, and in our press releases about the event.
