RJC Dance Youth Provision members Shahck Out Juniors Perform at East Street Arts Carnival Mural Launch

RJC Dance Youth Provision members Shahck Out Juniors Saturday were invited to perform at the East Street Arts Carnival Mural Launch at the Leeds West Indian Centre on Saturday 28 October 2023.

The East Street Arts Carnival Mural was curated by Rhian Kempadoo-Millar, who is also the designer of award winning RJC Dance ‘NATRO-BEAT’ Carnival Troupe costumes.

Shahck Out Juniors Saturday wowed a huge audience with their superb performance of ‘We Ready’ choreographed by RJC Dance alumnus, tutor and choreographer Nillanthie Morton. For many of the group, this was their debut performance with RJC Dance... and they absolutely smashed it!

We had a fantastic time at the event and congratulations to Rhian, the East Street Arts team and everyone involved in the launch for a beautiful Carnival Mural and fabulous event.
