Where RJC Dance are performing and the workshops we have lined up
This is the subscription deadline page where you can register a place for Youth Theatre for the remainder of the year (January 2022 to July 2022).
Leeds Playhouse and RJC Dance work in partnership to deliver Youth Theatre, a weekly theatre and performance programme for young people aged 9 – 12 years, living in the local and surrounding areas of Leeds.
The sessions take place on a Friday from 4:30pm - 6pm at the Mandela Centre, Chapeltown, Leeds LS7 3HY until the last session on Friday 15th July 2022. Each session provides a quality drama and performance programme, developing theatre skills, knowledge and experience. Throughout the year, there will be up to two sharings of creative work. The sessions are delivered during term time only, with a break for half term.
Participants of the Youth Theatre have the opportunity to acquire Arts Award accreditation to further grow their arts and leadership talents and to engage in Leeds Playhouse projects and shows (eg Community Auditions etc and performance opportunities via Community Tours)
To book a place for the remainder of the year, please make the subscription payment of £40, no later than 31st January 2022, using the form below. Please also return a completed Consent and Covid-19 safety form. NOTE - as a member of RJC Dance Youth Theatre, all participants are required to wear their group t-shirt and hoody for each session. See the option to add the t-shirt (£10) and hoody (£20) to your order below. Please share the name of the person taking part and the size they need ( S - M - L - XL) in the 'notes' field at the bottom.
