FREE Summer Dance Camp 2024

This summer we are excited to welcome boys and girls aged 9 years - 17 years to our studio at the Mandela Centre, Chapeltown, Leeds for a fantastic Carnival themed dance camp.

The FREE sessions, which run daily 10.30am - 12.30pm from Monday 29July to Friday 2 August, thanks to funding from the Inner North East Community Committee, Leeds City Council. The week is open to young people NEW to RJC Dance Youth Provision.

The dance camp will awaken bodies with carnival dance, movement/choreography, to the uplifting sounds of Soca music. These sessions are fun, energetic and a great way for the children and young people to keep fit and make friends this summer.

Places are limited. The dance camp runs Monday to Friday and participants are required to attend every day to learn the routine ready for the Friday ‘Sharing' of work.

To secure your FREE place for the week, we will require a £10 deposit, refundable at the end of the week on 100% attendance.
