RJC Dance Inner North Community Committee October Half-Term Dance Camp brought the Mandela Centre alive with rhythm, creativity and joy during the final week of October.
Funded by the Inner North Community Committee, the week-long camp was a vibrant celebration of movement and connection. 27 young people aged 9–17 came together to explore dance, many experiencing RJC Dance for the very first time.
Led by choreographer and tutor Nillanthie Morton, and tutor Shahada Nantaba Sekajja, they immersed themselves in a K-Pop–inspired week filled with energising warm-ups, confidence-boosting affirmations, creative choreography, playful games and mindful cool-downs.
The week concluded with an exciting showcase for friends and family, where the young dancers proudly shared the dynamic routine they had learnt together.
A huge well done to all the incredible young dancers who took part. Your confidence, creativity and energy lit up the stage!
Special thanks to the Inner North Community Committee for funding this free school holiday opportunity and supporting young people to move, connect and create through dance.
