Leeds Playhouse and RJC Dance work in partnership to deliver this weekly theatre and performance programme for young people aged 9 – 12 years, living in the local and surrounding areas of Leeds.
The sessions take place on a Friday from 4:30pm – 6pm at the Mandela Centre, Chapeltown, Leeds LS7 3HY. Each one session provides a quality drama and performance programme, developing theatre skills, knowledge and experience. Throughout the year, there will be up to two performance opportunities. The sessions are delivered during term time only. with a break for half term.
Participants of the Youth Theatre have the opportunity to further grow their arts and leadership talents and experiences by engaging in Leeds Playhouse projects, shows and attending trips to the theatre.
