Where RJC Dance are performing and the workshops we have lined up
Shahck Out Youth Dance is designed specially for our Youth Provision members aged 13 - 19. Everyone taking part will get a training programme of personal development through creative movement, dance and performance, delivered by RJC Dance and other professionals.
Term starts on Wednesday 11th January and sessions are every Wednesday evening from 5pm - 6:30pm, until December (with breaks during school holidays). Currently all sessions are planned to take place in person in our studio at Mandela Centre, Leeds, LS7 3HY.
Each week, we do dance training, choreography, rehearsal sessions and dance performances, alongside an integrated social and personal development programme. These sessions culminate in dance performances, such as our Christmas Show.
RJC Dance Youth Provision is rooted in equality and cultural diversity and engages young people from all backgrounds. It's our hope that we can keep our young people motivated, moving and in touch with one another, because our community is what we're all about.
